The explosion of Billie Eilish onto the 2017 music scene should've been an immediate indicator of the greatness that would follow. Since the release of her first EP, she has become the youngest artist to win all four major Grammy categories in one year, including becoming the youngest artist to win Album of the Year; the youngest female solo act to top the UK album charts; earned 2019's biggest-selling global single with "Bad Guy," and much more.

Not only have her records impacted the music industry, but she has also smashed a movie record, becoming the youngest person ever to win two Academy Awards. This May, she is hoping to continue her burgeoning legacy in the film industry with the release of Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), which was filmed at her Co-Op Live Arena show in Manchester, during the tour of her third studio album. For the movie, Eilish recruited the expertise of another cinema record-breaker, James Cameron, who broke the record for highest-grossing movie ever with Titanic, before breaking it again with Avatar 12 years later.

As part of our ongoing Exclusive Spring Preview event, Collider is thrilled to bring you the exclusive image below from the upcoming concert movie, showcasing Eilish on stage, bathed in blue light, as she holds her microphone out and soaks up the thousands of doting fans singing back to her. This is the latest screen project for Eilish, who previously released the 2021 AppleTV+ documentary The World Is A Little Blurry and the Disney+ animation and live performance fusion Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. The concert movie is scheduled to be theatrically released by Paramount Pictures on May 8, 2026.

It might not have hit the jaw-dropping box office heights of the previous two installments, but Avatar: Fire and Ash silenced the skeptics yet again by producing an impressive theatrical run. Over eleven weeks to date, Fire and Ash has earned just shy of $1.5 billion worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $401 million and a further $1.079 billion from overseas markets. This total is enough for the threequel to become the 15th highest-grossing movie of all time.
